Gold Medal for U16B in Niagara

The shining gold medal performance belonged to U16B in Niagara. These ladies turned in four solid performances on their way to an undefeated weekend and a rewarding Sunday finish.

U16B would start things rolling on Friday with a 5-1 win against Tillsonburg. Saturday morning they would take down the hometown Daredevils 4-2, before bumping up against a tough Kitchener team, which would end in a 4-4 draw.

Sunday would see a Kitchener vs. London rematch. London came out strong, staking claim to a 3-0 lead in the first period. They would fend off Kitchener’s push in the second period and claim the gold medal in a tight 3-2 thriller. Great job, London!!
