Bond Hours Policy

New for the 2024-2025 Season!

At the 2024 AGM the Lynx organization approved a new Bond Hours Policy that will come into effect for the 2024-2025 season.

London Ringette is made great by the volunteers that donate a tremendous amount of their time and energy to help to coach our teams and run tournaments and events.

To help ensure we have enough help to keep things running smoothly, the new policy asks that each player's family volunteer 3 hours of time throughout the season.  There are many opportunities to volunteer, including: tournaments, Come-Try-Ringette, LRA year-end-party, and managing or coaching a team.  Please see the complete list and details of the program in the attached document.

Families will provide a $300 Bond via a post-dated cheque to the team manager at the beginning of the season.  This bond will be returned if the 3 volunteer hours are completed.  We encourage the use of cheques, but if that is not possible, an e-transfer will be accepted (please use the note section of the e-transfer to explain what your transfer is for and the name of the player).

Multi-player families will provide a bond of $450 have a requirement of 5 bond hours.  This will be collected and tracked by the team manager of the oldest player.

Please speak to your team's manager or an LRA board member if you require additional information.
