Congratulations to the U19AA who capped off an excellent Pink-the-Rink Tournament with a Golden performance!
London had to fight through a tough round robin that saw them score a win against Kitchener 6-1, Mississauga 7-0, a 4-4 draw with Richmond Hill, and a tough 4-2 loss to Ajax Pickering; before earning a birth into the Gold Medal Match by defeating Eastern Ontario 7-5 in the Semi-Finals early Sunday morning.
The Gold Medal game was a rematch against Ajax Pickering. After a strong start that saw London stake themselves to a 6-2 early lead, the Lynx were able with withstand a relentless onslaught by Ajax Pickering that saw the game tighten to a one-goal game late in the 4th period. This game was a nail bitter. With the Ajax net empty and two London players in the penalty box, London survived a gruelling final few shifts to secure a 6-5 victory, and win the first and only Gold Medal for the Lynx at the 42nd Annual Pink-the-Rink Tournament. This game was a true pleasure to watch for all the fans that made the trip back to the rink. Congratulations U19AA!
Congratulations to the U19A London Lynx who won a Silver Medal at the 42nd Annual Pink-the-Rink Tournament!
London U19A had a strong round robin, going 1-1-1 which included a 5-3 loss to Forest, a 5-5 draw with St. Mary's, and a 3-2 win over Paris. They then won a hard fought semi-final game against St. Mary's 5-2, before running into a hot Forest team that was firing on all cylinders and delivered a strong 10-0 Golden performance.

Fun3-Knight has won Gold in the 2024 Tillsonburg Twisters Tournament. Huge congratulations to Team Knight along with some AP backup help from their fellow Fun3 Lynx teams. Team Knight entered this tournament as a dark horse, sporting a 3-3 regular season record; facing off against 3 challenging home town Twister teams, with a combined regular season record of 18-5.
Team Knight overwhelmed their Tillsonburg opponents and got stronger and stronger as the tournament progressed. They started their weekend with a 12-5 win against Tillsonburg-Ratter, followed by a 8-5 victory against their long standing rivals Tillsonburg-VanPuymbroeck. They finished out their round robin play with a decisive 18-10 win against the previously undefeated Tillsonburg-Manary. The Gold-medal match featured a rematch between team Knight and Manary that saw London take the lead 3:14 into the game, and they never looked back; cruising to a 15-4 win to take home their first medal of the season.
This was a tremendous team effort that had no less than 6 Lynx players score double digit point totals in a 4-game tournament. Special congratulations to Maia who scored her first ever ringette goal! And Ruby who was tremendous between the pipes. Our regrets to our friends who were not able to attend this tournament, we missed you! Congratulations London Lynx Fun3-Knight!!!!
