Player Intent to Try-Out for 2026-2027 Provincial Ringette and new Team Formation Guidlines
Ringette Ontario has opened the form to submit Intent to Try Out for Provincial Ringette for the 2026-2027 Season.

Is the Intent Form Important?
- Yes. Ringette Ontario uses the number of Intents as one of the main factors in deciding which associations get to host which levels of teams for the upcoming season. Furthermore, a player who has not completed the Intent by the deadline will not be allowed to tryout for an A/AA team unless a special exemption is approved by Ringette Ontario.
Who has to fill out this form?
- Only players wanting to play on a Provincial Ringette team need to fill out the Intent Form (U14A, U14AA and above)
Who does not have to complete the Intent Form?
- Fun1, Fun2, Fun3 and U12 players, as well as anyone U14 and above who is only interested in playing Regional (B/C) level ringette.
Ringette Ontario has replaced the existing guidance on team formation. The new policies will be in use for the 2026-2027 season. Some major changes have taken place such as the removal of the "Closest-Association Matrix" and banning of underage players (except for instances of team viability, which must be approved by Ringette Ontario). March 23 - Willing to Host Forms Due
April 7 - Deadline for AA and A Teams to be Allocated to Clubs
April 13 - Tryout Schedules Due
April 24-May 8 - AA Tryout Window
May 11 - AA Rosters Due
May 15-May 29 - A Tryout Window
June 1 - A Rosters Due
September 1 - B/C Sort-Outs Begin
