Fun3 (U10) Start of Season Information

Fun3 (sometimes called U10) division includes players that are aged 8 or 9 at the start of the season.

The players will be sorted into 2 teams.  As is mandated by Ringette Ontario and LORL, the teams will be sorted in a way that attempts to achieve a balance of skill.  The objective of this balancing is to promote fairness and general enjoyment of the game.  

In order to allow for balancing, all Fun3 players will participate in two 'sorting skates' which are held in early September.  Please check back closer to September for the dates and times of these sorting skates.  The sorting skates can seem a little chaotic as there will be a lot of bodies on the ice and they are strictly designed for player evaluation and not the teaching of skills.   After the evaluation and team placements are completed, parents will receive an introductory email from their team coach, and will be able to access the "Ramp Team App" which will include their schedule of games and practices.  Regular weekly practices will begin October the 2nd and will take place at Kinsmen Arena at 5:30pm.  Both the London Fun3 teams will be on the ice together.
